    Place a variable in the Range() for dynamic Range

    In Excel VBA,

    A user may enter 20 rows of data in Column A.

    I want to be able to do something like the following

    Selection.AutoFill Destination:=Range("B2:B20"), Type:=xlFillDefault

    where I can generate the same number of entries in Column B.

    So the question is, can I put in a varilable like the following:

    Range("B2:VarableCounter")?
    if not, how should I do this?

    thanks.

    Hello qed59,

    You can do this way...
    Code:
    Selection.AutoFill Destination:=Range("B2").Resize(Selection.Rows.Count, 1), Type:=xlFillDefault
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

    Remember To Do the Following....

    1. Use code tags. Place [CODE] before the first line of code and [/CODE] after the last line of code.
