Thumbs down Any excel gurus using Apple computers?

I owned a HP laptop for three years which fizzed out...then now a Dell for four year which is also on the fizz, I have Norton Anti Virus but right now the computer is running so slow and loud you can hear the CPU blowing loudly from outside my apartment. I really want to move to an apple computer like the mac all in one http://www.apple.com/imac/. I don't think mac has excel on it but the store clerk said that I could buy an excel for mac. I also use quickbooks so I don't know if it works on a mac.

So here is my question. I love excel and VBA codes (i am no guru just a basic user) does it make sense to buy an apple mac computer or should I just stick to the old Microsoft?
    Thanx

No VBA on Mac any more. It may come back, but there's no promise.

That's not the CPU you hear making the noise. It's probably one of the fans.
My laptop was making all kinds of noise. Applications started going buggy. Then. it crashed.

I took the laptop to a repair shop. It was diagnosed with a broken video card fan.
I replaced the fan (and video card...they were a unit) and the laptop is back to normal.
