Hi all. I'd like to improve the performance of the macro submitted below. it is written to generate a a report, which could have as many tables as might be needed. The macro is accumulated from contributions on this forum (credits to excel forum). The macro has three functions, two that handle the formating of the report cells, and a third to regenerate as many tables as the user might require.
Can any changes be made to this macro to improve its performance? Notice that while the macro is running the screen keeps updating, which slows down the macro. I think also, because i'm a newbie to macros, that the code could do with numerous improvements. Any changes made to the code are welcome.

Oh, Teylyn, i had not noticed this error. Is there anything i can do to sort it, or does your moving it to the Programming Forum cover it? thx
Since you turn off/on screen updating in the main procedure I think you can remove all references to it from the other procedures.
