Thread: conversion of text to time and date

hi,

does anyone know how to convert text to time and date. for exaple:

1. 8:52:32
2. 18:34:22

and

1. 29 jul 2010
2. 15 jan 2008

what so more, I need to extract it from cell that contains text

29 jul 2010 18:52:32 CEST

. I think it can be done by formula, however I prefer a makro that goes down the specific column. I have thousends of this kind of cells in one worksheet. many thanks
