    Concatenate with "Comments"

    Hi,

I currently have a tablle which is using the CONCATENATE function in the worksheet from accross 4 cells consisteing of aplha and numerics.

The resultant cell loses any comments if they were applied to any of the 4 cells. Is it possible to concatenate and keep the comments?

    Thanks in advance.
    Simon

    Re: Concatenate with "Comments"

CONCATENATE() only applies to cell values. Cell Comments of course do not carry across to the cell holding the formula.

As this is the programming forum, your question does not make it clear if you are using VBA to concatenate or already realize the only way to concatenate comments is to do the concatenation in VBA.

If you're looking for a VBA solution, click GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to post up a desensitized copy of your workbook.
