Thread: copying data from another workbook

I new with VBA programming

Can anyone tell me how to make a macro that copies a certain area of data from another worksheet called, let's say "Workbook1, sheet1" to a certain area in my "standard" calc.-sheet.
I would be cool if I could just hit a tab, a key or anything in my standard calc.-sheet and the data will be copied from "workbook1"

Please post an example of what specific data range you are interested in coping over to your calc sheet. If you could post an example xls it would be great?
