Hello,
I need to build a macro that will complete copying a set of data from one workbook to the next based upon the first entry into the new sheet.
For example, say I have contact info about person A in workbook 1. Once I enter the name or ID # of person A into workbook 2, I would like the phone number, address, etc. of person A to appear.

Use VLOOKUP

Could you explain a bit further how VLOOKUP works? syntax, etc.
I need a command that isn't one case limited. I can't use a command that only applies to one specific condition.
What would be ideal would be something that is equivalent to:
if A1 = B###, then A2 = [workbook1]sheet1!B$2$ AND A3 = [workbook1]sheet1!B$3$ AND A3 = [workbook1]sheet1!B$4$

See this Use the Function Wizard to make it easier to slect the table in the other workbook
