COMPARING TWO COLUMNS and other....

Hello,
sorry for my english. I have difficulty with excel. I shoud to compare some unique code.

In one colum i have article numer of product(barcode). I want to make a revision of product and in other colum (b) it putting the barcode taken from the reader. I want to compare the colums i have a result what is here , and what is in minus? i hope that i have to explain my problem. Can somebody help me?

Hi and welcome to the board

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!

here is the attached file... this is a sample but it is the same. I have a code in colum "C" ... when i take a revision i use this code. In colum "T" i write the item code that i found . I want in colum "R" to print what is found. Some of articles on one code have 2 counts. example. the code 52600 i have 2 qty ...

maybe i can` explain well ;(

i this is what i want , but i want one more thing. if you look in row number 29 you will see that of this item i have 2 qty in colum "K" , now i find 1 , can it display that i found only one and other is missing?
