I'm writing a VBA code in Excel 2007... using a check box to trigger a Validation list, i need the user to select a value from it... but when the list is activated, it comes with no value on it so if the user simply ignores it, it allows to leave the cell blank...
i need to force the user to select a value before he or she does anything else..
any help will be appreciated...
Jorge
Whatever the next step is, or next few steps (cells), you can apply Data Validation to those cells that will not allow any editing at all unless the prior cell has a value other than blank.
