Hi Guys,
I am currently working on a project which is i am using in my job...I need some help on how to make this work...which basically copy rename then paste in a next row (a data on a cell which is a filename that i updated everyday.)
here are further more of an example og which i am making....
on a worksheet named Daily reports monitoring
as you can see theres a weekly date above of each filename e.g."VE-Daily-Review-27-Apr11.pdf" it is a report i make everyday..so everyday i add it on my excel to track the reports i make..
i need help to have a macro that would automate it as i clicked.
1. first copy the filename from lastrow of B D and F
2. rename each filename to a suitable filename using a input box ask a user for a new filename for each rows e.g. VE-Daily-Review-27-Apr11.pdf ask user for new filename for VE-Daily-Review-28-Apr11.pdf
3. Paste it to the next available row for ech row....
4. and if possible automatically make a hyperlink to my drive d:
Thank you guys for any help...really appreciated..

Hi and welcome to the board. Unfortunately
Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution. Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.
To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.
PLEASE PM WHEN YOU HAVE DONE THIS AND I WILL DELETE THIS POST
Quoting entire posts clutters the forum and makes threads hard to read !
