Hello
I wonder if someone could help me please.
I am running a competition for a charity and have created a spreadsheet in Excel 2003 with 2000 rows of 10 columns, each column with a number ranging from 1 to 22.There are no duplicates in any row.
If I know what the 5 winning numbers are, is there a way that I can get Excel to search all of the rows and tell me which rows contain these numbers?
Thank you
Can you upload example workbook?

You can use conditional formatting and that would colour the cells containing those numbers.
e.g.
Select the columns containing the numbers
Say you entered the winning numbers in X1:X5
Then go to Format|Conditional Formatting and select formula is from drop down menu
Enter: =MATCH(A1,$X$1:$X$5,0)
where A1 is the top-left most cell you selected to color
Then click Format and choose from the Pattern tab.
