Hi there,
I'm pretty new to macros and I've been trying to do the following:
I have a sheet with codes, such as
abc-1
abc-12
bca-65
and so on...
And I need to lookup those codes in another sheet, where those codes are in cells, such as:
abc1-, abc-12, cba-45, aaa-1, mvn-98, etc etc.
Other cells have similar values as well, so I need a macro that finds those codes and remove them from the cells in the other sheet. I'm using Excel 2010.
Thanks in advance everyone.
Clarifying, the codes are lots in one cell.
So in cell a3, for instance, I have lots of codes separated by commas. The same in cell b3, c3, d3.
Help anyone?
Can you post an example workbook?
:-)
Thank You, Mike

Hi Mike,
Thank you for your reply.
Attached is an example workbook.
I want to look and find the values from sheet "to be deleted" in the "base" sheet, and delete them if the exist in the "base" sheet.
The codes are inside cells, comma-separated.
Thank you very much.![]()
