I have attached an excel with form. Right now to view the form I have to open the Excel. I want to modify my application such that I am able to open only the form (without the excel in the background). The excel should open up when I close the form, i.e., when the cross button is clicked on the top-right corner of the form. How is it possible? I do not know much about forms and excel
You can't. The workbook must open first.
You can hide the application, but this is not advisable in case of errors occurring

ok. then I want to make a userform which would display only the form and the data entered in the form should go into XLS of MS access table. In the form I will have some drop downs which would need to be stored somewher. What should be the approach for this?
You've lost me. What do you mean by xls ofMS Access table?
