Hey Everyone,
I would like to set up my conditional formatting so that cells have different sets of conditional formatting applied to them if the user changes a specific field.
This spreadsheet tracks due dates for documents, but I made it such that the user can change the due date type from something based on years, to months, or days. However, if with the change from years to months the conditional formatting formulas must also change.
I thought maybe to reference a cell with a shell formula ".....formula" rather than "=....formula" but this did not work.
Attached is my spreadsheet, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I figured out a way to handle the problem without using any conditional statement to determing what formulas to apply..
I just added a column for monthly values and when the document type is yearly monthly values will equal zero. and vice versa. eliminating the need for multiple formulas.
If there is any way to apply conditional logic to determine what conditional formatting excel will apply. PM me because I would love to know if it possible.
