Thread: Find data on sheet1 and add it to sheet2

Hi,

I have 2 sheets, one old and one new. I need the new sheet to detect if a record is already entered into the old sheet, If it is, it should take a numerical value, for example 'price' from the old sheet and add it onto the new sheet's 'price' field.


Sheet 1
Name Price

item1 25
item2 25
Sheet 2
Sheet 2 should detect if an item name matches the item name on sheet1, if it does it should take the price and add it to the price on sheet2.
