Search via VBA-Userform and display all rows

    Hi guys,

I'm new here, so firstly hello. I'm after some assistance. I've created an excel sheet with a userform to input data, now what I'm looking to do is two things:

    1. Create a userform which searches the inputted data (all within sheet1 - though currently empty) based upon two columns "Type" and "Status". Both of these are defined by dropdowns selected during the input stage, so the string will be continous throughout.
    2. Once I've got the search userform complete, I need the results to be displayed on a 3rd userform (with the 2nd now gone). But I want to be able to show the Row in which the result has been drawn from.

The plan after this point is then to allow the user to double click one of the rows shown in the results, which will display the input form again but this time complete with the data from the chosen row, so they can edit / update etc.

    Any assistance is greatly apprecated.

    Thanks in advance.

    James.

Your post does not comply with Rule 8 of our Forum RULES. Cross-posting is when you post the same question in other forums on the web. You'll find people are disinclined to respond to cross-posts because they may be wasting their time solving a problem that has been solved elsewhere. We prefer that you not cross-post at all, but if you do (and it's unlikely to go unnoticed), you MUST provide a link (copy the url from the address bar in your browser)to the cross-post. Expect cross-posts without a link to be closed a message will be posted by the moderator explaining why. We are here to help so help us help you!

Read this to understand why we ask you to do this
    Hope that helps.
