Good evening folks,
First post here, and hopefully I will find out if this is possible or not![]()
I wish to create a hierarchical map from a simple dataset.
The data set will consist multiple instances of the following:
- source
- "key term"
- destination
So, I want to create a hierarchical map which will display the relationships between the above.
If there are instances where the source, destination & also key term are the same, the arrow/link between them on the graph should represent this. (whether by being bolded, or having 2 or more arrows)
If the source and destination are the same, but the key-term is different, there should be 2 links/arrows between them highlighting the keyterms.
The arrow should also indicate which way its flowing, ie: source to destination.
It should look something like this:

If There are other solutions instead of displaying a map, i'm open to hearing how to create those also.
Best regards,
Conor
I don't understand. It seems that you have only posted some vague design specs that have nothing to do with the Outlook e-mail program?? There's nothing that even resembles a how to... question (that a help forum can answer). What kind of dataset is that (Excel/Access)?. Where's the sample file? NOTE: pictures are useless...

Welcome to the forum.
I've moved your post from the outlook forum, by the way.
Unfortunately:
Your post does not comply with Rule 8 of our Forum RULES. Cross-posting is when you post the same question in other forums on the web. You'll find people are disinclined to respond to cross-posts because they may be wasting their time solving a problem that has been solved elsewhere. We prefer that you not cross-post at all, but if you do (and it's unlikely to go unnoticed), you MUST provide a link (copy the url from the address bar in your browser)to the cross-post. Expect cross-posts without a link to be closed a message will be posted by the moderator explaining why. We are here to help so help us help you!
Read this to understand why we ask you to do this
