I'm trying to generate an array that has XYZ coordinates for the columns and rows. I've successfully generated a formula to calculate the distance between each point. But what I cannot do is drag this formula to other columns or rows without having to edit it each time. The default adjustment to the formula makes it draw data from completely incorrect columns/rows. There being several hundred columns and rows, I would prefer not to edit it almost 10000 times. Any comments, tips would be greatly appreciated.

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.
If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.
Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!
Make the references 'fixed' by using the $ sign (which currency by the way isn't very fixed at all)
e.g. instead of A1 use $A$1
