Hi! I'm having trouble putting together a script and was looking for a little (a lot of) guidance.
I receive a daily e-mail with an attached report in HTML format. The attachment filename changes daily but maintains a constant format (today's was 2011-12-20E.html ... yesterday's was 2011-12-19E.html .... the 'E.html' is the only bit that remains the same). The attachment is always in the same table format, however the number of tables (dependant on the number of incidents being reported) can vary. The data inside these tables is always exactly the same.
I would like for Outlook to export (or for Excel to import) this daily data into ONE local .xls file so that my workbook maintains itself and is kept up-to-date.
Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction? Is this even possible? I suspect it would be easier to have this written inside Outlook as to avoid any security issues with the e-mail client.
