Re: Proper way to save to a workbook journal

    Hi Larry

Still working on understanding the process.
So, based on our conversation, for a specific job, my understanding is that there will be one and only one invoice number. Is this the case?
If this is the case would/could "Rough" have more than one billing? Would/could "Finish" have more than one billing?

Yes A job has only invoice number, the rough would have one billing and the finish has one billing. I sent out the owe invoice on rough billing but they
only pay 60% of the total. If there are changes on the job they get added to the first invoice for billing.

    Hi Larry

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner...haven't been able to access the Forum for the past 36 hours...don't know why...been having the issue since the "Upgrade".

Still have questions regarding your process.
What is a "One Day" billing...does it infer that the Job took only 1 day and that this is a "Finish" billing?
What is a "Two Day" billing...does it infer that the job took more than 1 day and that this could be a "Rough" or a "Finish" billing?

Hi Larry...glad you have it resolved...good for you.
Used to get into the Mt. Clemens area quite often...years ago...haven't been to Michigan for many years...if I do, I'll take you up on your offer.

    I'm still curios about this
