Is there a way to set up a drop down box so that the user can select more than one choice and the result would list the choices separated by a comma in the same cell? I have a file that lists several resource names and another user to be able to select more than one option from the drop down box for each of the resources.
I have set up the data validation for each row, but would like the user to be able to select more than one option instead of creating more columns to show the different options. I am also using Excel 2007.
I appreciate any help you can offer.
Thank you in advance. Kim
Hi KimC33,
I'm afraid you are needing a Multi-Select ListBox and then need some VBA to accomplish your task. See http://www.dailydoseofexcel.com/arch...ect-listboxes/
It is a lot harder than a Data Validation dropdown box.
One test is worth a thousand opinions.
