    Vlookup and date

    Hi,

    i have a problem which i'm sure is easy for you guys but i'm struggling. I've attached my work sheet.

    I want vlookup to check the dates to make sure todays date is not in the past. If so, then search the date list, and if it finds the date in A5 in the list, then add the numbers to the right so i have a total

    It looks like there is a formatting date problem or some thing but i'd really appreciate some help!

    Thanks

    That seems to have done the trick.....BIG THANKS!!!

    Try in C5
    =SUMIF($B$19:$B$200,"<="&A5,$J$19:$J$200)
