One selection 2 value display
Hello again,
I am seeking help to correction of formula but i cannot take out any solution.
I am selecting a value in A3 using data validation list it display in correct cell. now my question is below.
If i select one value in A3 and it should display in 2 cells how to do that.
Example: Briefing sent only is one field but if select Briefing Send & confirmed means i have send and received confirmation.
So, if i select Briefing Sent & Confirmed.The result should be displayed in C column & D column. Because this field have 2 results. Sending & Receiving. Without send i cannot received.
Copy of a sample sheet is attached for your easy reference.

excellent solution. it is perfect solution for my requirement. can you explain to me so that i can utilized this formula to my original data file.
it is not working. when i copy it down to other cells in same column it is displaying the same value as C2
Try it. Notice the relative and absolute references in formulas.
