Thread: Macro to loop through time until END

I am looking for anyone who might be able to help me write a macro. I think it should be pretty simple - but I am not great with VBA.

Basically I need a macro to look at a given start time (now() function), how much time a task should take (input), and what breaks happen within that amount of time.

For example if I started a task 2/2/12 at 10:00 AM, and I input that it will take 2 hours, however there - between 10 and 11 there is a 20 minute break. I would like the macro to return 12:20 PM as the end time.

I have the spread sheet set up with all of the data, including the "penalties" tab, indicating when breaks are and for how long.

*also, task 2 can't begin until task 1 is complete.

I was wondering - does anyone have any suggestions on 1) how I can start this? 2) if I am not phrasing this so that it is understood well enough to help?
