    Custom Formatting

I am trying to format cells to show up as 12.1254.1 when I just type 1212541. I have tried ##.####.# which gives me the result 1212541.. I have also tried ??.????.? which gives the result 1212541. . I have also tried 00.0000.0 which gives the result 1212541.0000.0 What am I doing wrong?!?!?

    Re: Custom Formatting

    use 00\.0000\.0

You'd better posted this question in a non-programming subforum.
