    Excel Corrupt Macro Message

    Hi,

I sent an Excel 2007 Macro Enabled file to someone, when they try to open it up and enable macros they get the following error message:

"The visual basic for applications (VBA) macros for this workbook are corrupted and has been deleted. The macros corruption most likely exists in the current file. To recover the macros, open up a backup copy of this file if you have one."

Any ideas? I tried it on seperate computers on my end and it works fine.

    Thanks!

    6. Has the problem occurred when opening other workbooks?

    Re: Excel Corrupt Macro Message

    Hi Leith,

The problem turned out to be that VBA was not enabled during the original installation of Office/Excel 2007. Afer modifying the Office/Excel installation with Add/Remove Programs and enabling VBA, it worked great.

    Thanks!!!
