I would love to automate importing balances into different work sheets. Each of those tabs Site 1, 2, 3, 4 have their own trial balance. I would like to import data into each month based on the month selected. Each trial balance file is named Site1TB.xls, Site2TB.xls and so forth. Is there a way to do this? If would save me a whole lot of time. I have attached file for reference...Main Menu tab would serve as starting point.
I just need code for one tab and I can copy and adjust to other tabs.

- Is the Chart of Accounts the same for ALL the "Sites" and do all ALL "Sites" have the same Account Descriptions?
- Are the "Site" Trial Balance Workbooks located in the same folder as your target file (CFS-Create)?
- How many "Sites" are there?
- Give several examples of the "real" naming structure of your actual Trial Balance Workbooks...unless they actually are "Site1TB.xls, Site2TB.xls and so forth"
This is not practical as there won't be code for each tab...it'll be code that works on each workbook, start to finish.With this info, I'll look at it.I just need code for one tab and I can copy and adjust to other tabs

Chart of the accounts is same accross the sites. As far as definitions go, they vary from site to site, but don't really care about those. It should be based on the COA. Trial balances will be located in the subfolder /TB in X:\Acct\Consolidated Statements\2012 and main file will sit only in folder \2012. There are 4 sites and each of those TB will be downloaded for. They are named just Site1, Site2 trial balances.

Try this code in a General Module then assign the Macro to one of the Buttons on Sheet MainMenu. The code assumes the File and Sheet Naming Conventions as displayed in your sample file and as described. Let me know of issues.
