Thread: Copy comments to several sheets in a workbook?

Does anyone know how to copy a cell's comment to several active sheets within
a workbook all at once? For instance, you can make several of the sheets
active within a workbook, alter a number in a cell, and the number will
change on all sheets in the same cell at once. Can this be done with
comments? I have only been able to do it from one sheet to another and not
with multiple sheets at once. Any help would be appreciated.

You can't insert a comment on multiple sheets simultaneously.

You could copy the cell that contains the comment

Then switch to another sheet, and choose Edit>Paste Special
Select Comment, click OK

Select the next sheet, select a cell, and press the F4 key
Repeat this last step for all remaining sheets

Or, you could create a macro to copy and paste a comment.
