How can I recover data from excel?

    Hi.
I had a file with multiple worksheets and password protected.
I overwrote it and lost all the owrksheet and all of my salary information.
I can explain this much only as the rest is unexplainable. I have just lost
6 months work and I would be very greatful to anyone who might be able to aid
    me in this.
    Thank you so much,
    Ciara and Ranjith

Is there any way to restore it apart from using the backup DDS?
