Copying data from another program into Excel as numbers

I am trying to copy data from a Z-Max program into Excel. The data are in columns in Z-Max but when I copy them into Excel, the data is put into a single cell, which Excel reads as text.

    0.000000E+000 0.000000E+000 0.000000E+000 0.000000E+000 3.269282E-002

Is there a way to separate the individual values into separate columns and reformat them as numbers?

    Thanks.

    Select the column

    Go to Data|Text to Columns

    Select Delimited and click Next

    Select Space and click Finish
    Microsoft MVP - Excel
