Apply % increase to collection of cells?

    Hi,

In a sheet, I have a series of numbers in a columnn. e.g:

    1000

    5000

    2500

    500

If I need to apply a % increase (say 25%) to these numbers, what is the easiest way/most simplest to do this ?

At the moment, I am going in to each cell and manually entering which is annoying and time consuming.

    THank you.

    Hi

IN a cell somewhere enter the number 1.25. Copy this cell then highlight the numbers you want to increase, edit, pastespecial, multiply, OK. Then delete the 1.25.
