I need to make the spreadsheet add the figures together to give me the figure in the total payment to date. I only want the figure to be added onto the total payment if there is a "Y" in the Paid column.
I can't figure out how to write the IF statement for it, can anyone help!?
An example workbook would be more use than an image.
Is this what you want/
=SUMIF(B1:B8,"Y",A1:A8)
