Drop down lists and importing data

    Good afternoon
    Two questions:
    1. I have a spreadsheet that must have drop down lists. I.E. if I pick an exam board AQA from the first column- only the qualifications from that exam board should be available for drop down in the second column. I have tried the data validation but it does not seem to work
    2. Once all the qualifications have been inputted, I would like to important their candidate numbers to the column 3
I am sorry I do not know how to attach the worksheet for an example,
    Your help is appreciated.
    Maddie

    Hi Maddie

Check out this site for how to do dependent dropdown lists

    http://www.contextures.com/xlDataVal13.html

Not sure I understand the second question. To attach a sheet, go to 'manage attachments' on the reply form, browse for the sheet on you computer, upload and off you go.
