    Recalculating PPM

I am doing a scorecard, part of which I am scoring PPM (Part Per Million). That formula is: =1,000,000/SUM(#of parts shipments)xSUM(#of those shipped parts that were rejected). MY QUESTION IS: HOW DO I HAVE MY MONTH TO MONTH WORKSHEETS CONTINUALLY RECALCULATE ONGOING THROUGH THE YEAR. Thanks for any help... Suzy

    hi suzy,

i think is is what you need, the formula uses indirect to calculate the cell references, as you drag down the date the ref changes to the last non blank cell, once all the other cells are filled it will calculate your formula.

    hope it helps

    thanks reg

    ppm scorecard recalculating

I have been trying different ways to get my ppm (parts per million) column to calculate correctly. For one month stand alone if I put the formula in each cell it seems to formulate correctly but when I drag the formula down to copy to the cells below or to a new month worksheet to keep an ongoing calculation it doesn't seem to work for me! The numbers in each column should be no more than 5 digits. Can anyone help me out! Thanks so much.... Suzy P.S. I have a diagram of the part of the worksheet in the first part of my thread I sent a few days ago if that would help. If there anything else a can send to help with this please let me know. Thanks again, Suzy

    hi suzy,

i'm a little confused with the calculation, the ppm is calculated against a percentage (column G), would it be possible to add actual expected results

    thanks reg
