Smile Maintain calculate days formula when emailing

Hi folks, I am working on a formula that will allow the entry of dates by clients who will receive the spreadsheet by email. The result of the dates entry will calculate the number of days between the two dates using the =datedif(a1,b1). I can get the result working for myself but as soon as I email it anywhere an error message is received (#name!).
I have tried to unlink the sheet but then I loose the formula. Can anybody provide me with an answer to this mystery.

    Many thanks
    pander
