Thread: Lookup woes

Hi all, I'm new here and have spent a while searching the forum but I can't find a solution to my problem.

I need to lookup the names from the table pictured, based on the columns containing values such as FLT. These columns are days of the week and change every week:

It then needs to insert the name of the person based on their skill into this table:

This sheet changes daily so I would like it to update to look at the relevant column when a date is entered

I hope this makes sense, and better still, is possible to do

could you post an xl work (notxls , xlsx book with two sample sheets first sheet showing table
second showing required result.?
someone will have a better chance (or be more inclined!)to have a bash at it.
