Thread: Issues with Shortcuts

I frequently use excel shortcuts such as Alt + I + R (insert row) and the paste special function to copy formats (right click key + S + T). For some reason I am suddenly required to add an "enter" keystroke inbetween the I and the R keystroke in the insert row and between the S and the T in past special format. Previously when I hit Alt+I the insert menu would automatically appear, now it just highlights the insert menu and I'm required to hit enter to bring it up. The same thing happens on any multi key shortcuts. Does anyone know how to fix this? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the quick response. I've tried exiting excel and restarting my computer but I continue to have issues. I've tried a few different excel files that I have done extensive work on in the past but they are all experiencing the same issue.
