Thread: delete a selective word

going along with this question...how do i just delete a selective word...example

hi my name is tom

and

hi this is my mom

is there a formula that will allow me to delete the word "my" from both sentences....leaving me with

hi name is tom

hi this is mom

so i want to search the whole row/column for the word "my" and have excel delete every instant of it....thanks in advance
