I have created a basic spread sheet for staff attendance.

I would like to be able to add holiday dates to the 'Holiday Dates' Sheet and it automatically put a 'H' in the correct cell(s) on the months sheet.

I have attached the spread sheet if it help.

Many Thanks and apologies if It doesn't make much sense

Cheers

Re: Holiday / Attendance Form

Hi vandanavai

Thanks so much for your help.

Can you talk me through the formula as I'd quite like to know how it works.

Also I need to add a 'Sick' sheet. How would I add that into the existing formula?

Do you know if there is something I can add to it to automaticlly fill the cell on the month sheet with the 'holiday' colour (or any colour really).

Thanks for your help so far. Really appreciate it.

ta

Re: Holiday / Attendance Form

Hi

see attached file. I have added 'Sick' sheet and changed formula in 'July' sheet accordingly. Moreover now I have made use of 'Conditional Formatting." So whenever there is 'H', cel will automatically be green and for "S" (Sick) it will be automatically red.
Hope this helps u.

Bye
