Hi folks
I have a spreadsheet with 3 columns
Column A is Type, it is a drop down list containing 3 options for example physical,social,economic
Column B is a category column which displays 4 options if column a contains physical, 4 options if social and 2 if economic
Column B is the subcategory column, it would need to display further options which differ depending on what is chosen in column B. I have a limit of 7 if clauses so I can't do it this way.
I am shaky on the concept of vlookups and macros etc but I am wondering if there is a way of returning a list of values from vlookup or something to populate the drop down list for column c
