    Copy cells

I am seeking a formula which can be “dragged” which will copy certain cells upon a row onto specific cells on another tab, when i drag at present it skips rows from tab 1?
    Eg;
    Tab1 B12 to Tab2 C8 & Tab1 E12 to Tab2 C12 & several others
    Tab1 B13 to Tab2 K8& Tab1 E12 to Tab2 K2 & several others
    Tab1 B14to Tab2 S8& Tab1 E12 to Tab2 S2 & several others
    Example spreadsheet attached
Simple for all you Excel genius’s, I am only just getting to grips with excel & cant wait to know as much as all of you!
Thanx in advance for any help you can give!

What are you trying to do?

print one (or many) form(s) at a time?

    Am I missing something?

    Re: Copy cells

I have a list of 124names on tab 1, I would like the information from the relevant cells on tab 1 onto tab 2, see attachment; attachment has 3 examples but I will require to print 124 a4sheets from tab 2 = each relevant to the person name in tab 1
    (hope this make sense)

    Hi Tina,

Would you be happy for this to be done using a macro which loops through every row of information to populate the Letter template & sends the created sheet to the printer x 124 times?

Do you need a copy of each created sheet to be kept in the Excel file?

    Re: Copy cells

i assume i would manage the macro, but if i were to add additional personnel informion into tab 1,(+124) keeping it alphabetical by surname (as is at the present time) i would require the cells on tab 2 to still co-ordinate with the personnel number on tab 1 (eg personnel #1 on row12(B12) = sheet to print out=page 1, this would be person with surnmae 1st alphabetically.
yes, i require to keep the originals
    thank you!

    Re: Copy cells

i'd have thought using word and mailmerge with the excel workbook as the data source would be the way to do this!

    Re: Copy cells

    Hi Tina,

I think Martin has hit the nail on the head!
I haven't used "Mail Merge" myself, but it seems reasonably self-explanatory in the Help files (at least for Word 2007). I suggest you look the phrase up in the MS Word files (&/or Google) & have a go from there...

    Good luck,
