    Question Remove HTML

I have a worksheet that contains over 900 products. One of the columns is the description which is exported from my shopping cart. The description that was exported contains some HTML code mixed in with the body of the description. I need to find and remove the code. The code is not always the same, but is always HTML code. PLEASE HELP!!

Re: Need to find and remove all HTML code(which varies)

You could do Find and Replace using <*> to find and replacing with nothing. Then repeat for &nbsp.

    Re: Remove HTML

It works fine for me. Instead of just saying it doesn't work, could you please outline very clearly the steps you are taking?

I just highlighted column L, hit Ctrl+H, put <*> in the first box and nothing in the second, then Replace All, and it was perfect.

    Nice and simple suggestion, Huron.

    Re: Remove HTML

When I did it, it removed 7,613 entries of <*>

See if the attached picture helps.
