Exclamation Formula Does Not Copy, Previous Calculation Result Does

Working with a spreadsheet where I'm calculating values. Formula, within the G1 cell is H1-F1. Copying the G1 cell down the G column, the formula copies and adjusts to the new row (H2-F2, etc.) however, G cell does not display the calculated sum, but the previous G cell's value. For example, if G2 = 10; G3 (even though the formula displays as H3-F3) displays the value of 10.

I've tried reformatting the cells to general, currency and accounting. I've tried clearing contents of all the cells and re-entering static data for H & F columns. Nothing has worked. I'd prefer not to manually enter the formula correctly for all G cells, but even outside of the time suck factor, that doesn't help me with new rows of data. I'd appreciate any ideas for a solve. Thanks!

I think you have your calculation setting at manual. Change that to automatic, and it should solve your issue.

Just to add to Sweeps suggestion, try pressing F9, if the values update then you do have to change the calculation mode (TOOLS>OPTIONS>CALCULATION(tab))

Thank you! I didn't even know that was an option!
