Thread: Gant Chart?

Hi Guys,

Trying to create a gantt chart of some kind. Basically what I have is:

Area Date jun-09 jul-09 aug-09 sep-09 oct-09
London Jun-09
SouthEng Jun-09
Chester Jul-09

No my goal is the following. Look at the date field for each area, and look at the date columns. Put "1" in the in the cells for the next 3 months after the area date. So in the example above:

For london there should be a "1" in Jul, Aug, Sep
For South Eng there be a "1" in July, Aug, Sep
For Chester there should be a "1" in Aug, Sep, Oct

From here, I can use conditional formatting....can anyone help please?

Thanks for the reply, but that doesn't really help me with what I'm trying to do. I've attached the file just in case I didn't explain well enough

Do you understand what I'm trying to do, or have I not explained it well enough?

Basically (so he says!) for every month down a columns i need it to highlight the next 3 months after (by putting a 1 then i can use conditional formatting)
