I have a situation like below:
Account Description Type 6/10/2010
1001001 1001 Servico History Account Asset 23037
1001012 1012 Local Depository Asset 14030
1001013 1013 Security Deposit Asset 0
1001018 1018 Manager's Account Asset 0
1001020 1020 Governors Bank - Mgrs Acct Asset 0
1001022 1022 US Funds Manager's Acct - Canadian Hotel Asset 0
Where this above excel contents should be printed out on csv in a different format
like shown here:
ACCKNOWLEDGE JOURNAL ENTRY-->This is constant
JUN-10-2010 June 2010 Activity
1001014 JE 23037 D Servico History Account
1001034 JE 14030 D Local Depository
My question is;
1) how can i skip rows with '0' amount..The first file is having '0' amounts..In output I should not show them...
2) All output file rows should show 'JE'..How to do create a constant column entry
3) what is the function i need to use so that i will make
1001 Servico History Account ---> Servico History Account

Can you post [attach] s sample workbook?
I can't tell how your columns are setup. Also describe where the second set of data resides. Is it on the same worksheet or on another sheet. You may want to create a sample of what the ouput should look like.
