Thread: IF formula query

I am currently trying to figure out how to calculate the cost of a rental vehicle between two dates.

I have added an excel spreadsheet with what I am looking for,

The costs are;

$33 (Daily Rate)
$247.50 (Weekly Rate) and
$990.00 (Monthly Rate).

Does anyone know a solution or can steer me in the right direction?

from your calculation, I notice that you used 1 month = 30days (which I followed)

If this is not what you want, then I have to modify the spreadsheet.

I had some time and I modified my spreadsheet to take into account the different number of days in each month (and also the extra 1 day in Feb every 4 years).

Now you can input the start and end date years apart and it will calculate the exact amount based on the months and the extra days.
