    Subtracting column number in workbook from one sheet to another.

    Hello all...I really cannot figure out how I would do this. What i am tryng to do is take one number in sheet 2 being I8 and all the way down column I of course, then take 50 and subtract the number in sheet number 1 also column I and have whatever the number is(this one happens to be 50 - 25=25) and have the put into sheet 2 in column I. I am sorry if this is confusing but if anyone would help with this, it would be MUCH appreciated. I have also attached my workbook so you can see what I am talking about. Thanks to all in advance for your input!!

    Hi,

    Sry, I am not 100% sure of what you want.

    If what you want is to have in Sheet 2 I8 onwards to have 50-(Sheet 1, I8), then all you have to do is to key this into I8 in Sheet 2

    =50-Sheet1!I8
    and then apply the same formula to all relevant cells below that.

    but if the value in Sheet 2 is not necessary 50, you may want have the value in a separate column than I
