    Angry Excell function not working

    Hi all,

    We are using Excell portuguese edition and xp with the portuguese language.The problem is when we using formulas it ll not accept ;

    for ex:
    =se(condition;truevalue;falsevale) is the actual syntax but it didnt work.
    we have to use =se(condition,truevalue,falsevale)

    Please help me why its behav like this.

    Some versions of Excel use the semi colon as a separator rather than a comma which is used in the UK and US versions. I'm not sure which other versions use which though.

    If your decimal separator is a comma, then the argument separator is a semicolon.

    If your decimal separator is a period, then the argument separator is a comma.
