Referring to formulae/cells from a different worksheet

How would you refer to a cell from a different worksheet but in the same XLS file for use with a formula? I know if it's the same worksheet, you just put = and click on the cell you want to refer to.

    Thanks.

Re: Referring to formulae/cells from a different worksheet

    =Sheet1!A1
    =Sheet2!$A$1

    etc

Basically, do the same thing. Type =, click on the tab for the sheet and then select the cell.

    Regards

Oh OK. What if the worksheet name has spaces?

    Put it in single quotes.

If you follow the approach outlined, it will be done for you.
