Trying to find a minimum value to satisfy IF statement

    Hello all,

I am learning to code using Excel 2007. I am trying to create a formula for a roulette betting scheme that will display the next bet based off of a required minimum gain from betting on a single number. It is a quasi Martingale approach so if the first bet is a loss, the formula will determine the next bet to satisfy the loss and the required minimum gain.

I am trying to use an If statement to find a minimum bet that will result in a Gain that is equal to or greater than the Min Gain requirement. the current If statement in the Bet column will advance the bet by 1, however I want it to advance by 2, 3, 4, etc, in order to continue resulting in a Gain greater than or equal to the value specified by the Min Gain.

    Many Thanks

If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.
